[Help] PSP 3k [No Sound Without Headphones]

hello. i recently had found out that my PSP 3000 doesnt have sound. i turn it up to the highest volume but nothing happens. to tell the truth. i fell asleep with it in my pocket, and my earbuds were plugged in. but later. i noticed that with the earbuds out, it shows the sound settings like it should with the headphones plugged in when you press the music note button... anyone know how to fix that?

i was gonna sell the thing til it fuked up like that.
if i could. i'd do a video. if you dont really understand what i just said.

Maybe you f'ed up the Audio Input with the Headphone thingy.

i think so too... is there anyway to fix that without taking the whole psp apart? i cant send it to sony. sooo... im screwed.

Hmmm, I don't think there's another way besides that.

Just buy the Audio Part from Ebay or something and install it yourself. It's not hard to take a PSP apart.

I've done it lots of times.

Yeah it sounds like u fudge up the headphone input on the sound board.

Same thing happened to my phat psp a few years back, I bought a new soundboard of ebay for like $5. I replaced it myself it was pretty easy, also it's easier to open up and replace it on 3k, so if ya needs some help let me know^^

now the sound works like every now and then... o.o idk wtf is up with it... but its wierd...
it randomly started working when i was downloading some music from sendspace.... so i was like wtf...

Just spilled sume Fudgin beer on my pspgo, just finoshed taking that shit apart and left it out to dry. Hopefully when I get up and put it back together it'll turn on again

i dont know what he thought. i was really pissed though. haha. but that psp was old as hell. had it since 2006.
