Coldbird's Retirement and Vita PSP Kernel Exploit
Not sure if anyone from this lil forum has been seeing what's being happening in the PSP/PSV scene the last few days. A person by the name of Sam Jordam aka Batmanbeyond has had the community in an uproar with his proclaim Vita PSP kxploit leak.
Well do to some unfortunate events Coldbird is retiring from the scene and giving us the truth bout the incident.

With this I bid you farewell and thank you for all you've given the community

Re: Coldbird's Retirement and Vita PSP Kernel Exploit
Wow, Crazy what has been going on.
My interest for Hacking was lost.
I can't even remember the last time I logged in to Wololo.net
But man, That is some serious stuff.
Coldbird does have a point. The Vita will crumble into pieces if a CFW is released.
I believe that a CFW will both help and harm the console. The sales would increase, but the PSP Game sales will suffer a huge impact.
It's better to just leave it as is. I do believe, someone will come up with a new CFW sooner or later. This is not over yet. Coldbird is not the only Nerd out there.
About the guy that caused all this. I feel sorry for him. Oh well.

Didn't he say he quit a long time ago before then he came back?
Re: Coldbird's Retirement and Vita PSP Kernel Exploit
Yeah Juggs but what happened this time is way worse. He still gonna be handling pro online^^
I don't feel sorry for him at all TDA, dude deserves what he gets imo. His lil stunt practically killed the vita scene.

Yeah those guys are always hating on something, so it's fun to read their post^^
His leaving the Vita scene, not the psp scene I think. Not sure though, I've read many different things. It's gotten me a bit confuse lol

Just what I said.
It seems Total_Noob is that other Nerd I mentioned.

Re: Coldbird's Retirement and Vita PSP Kernel Exploit
Yeah I saw that round 2:30am was to lazy to post it and now I'm on my way to work lol
Seems the 6.60 tn-a cfe for the vita only works on the EU ver. of urbaniX.
Hopefully it'll be ported by tonight when I'm out of work. Either way I got other things that let me play homebrews on 1.81 already lol

Re: Coldbird's Retirement and Vita PSP Kernel Exploit
I get what's he's saying and feeling but the very last part made me resent him. Sorry but in my eyes he's not retiring, he's being a quiter because something fucked up. I know of hackers that aren't as high of a league as him and they wouldn't let something like this stop them at all. Hell I wouldn't, shit like this is expected to happen. So farewell Coldbird and all but whatever, someone better and braver will come along and take his place. Although I do agree that other guy is pretty much a dick.
Re: Coldbird's Retirement and Vita PSP Kernel Exploit
Like I said he said he was quittin a long time ago too but he never really did lol he will be back ;)
Re: Coldbird's Retirement and Vita PSP Kernel Exploit
Actually that's a good reason to quit. Just cause George Hotz got off with a slap on the wrist by sony don't mean Coldbird would get the same treatment, especially when the console isn't even a year old. Although it would get ton's of sales it would kill of the PSP in definitely and discourage game devs to not make games for it for fear that the console could be fully hacked and Vita games would be pirated and they wouldn't make money of itAvieD1ne wrote:I get what's he's saying and feeling but the very last part made me resent him.
